Sorry it's so late in the day. Today's drawing was hard work, and not completley satisfactory. My health is not good, the heat is a lot to bear. There is a lesson here... I have yet to understand it.

Dear Anna

I've come to the end of the Hebrew alphabet, all 22 letters.
It has felt as if each drawing is a prayer, an incantation; an alchemical mix of sounds, collage and drawing.

Each message takes 4-5 hours to complete, there are times while I make that I have to pause to take a breath, for as the impulse moves through me I feel the history of each letter vibrate.

I don't know what is next.
